DID YOU KNOW that…
- At a speed of 240km/hour in just 9 seconds, the acceleration of Formula Rossa is as fast as a Formula 1 car (it also happens to be the fastest rollercoaster in the WORLD)
- To launch the incredible experience, Formula Rossa uses up to 20,800 horsepower and propels guests 171 feet above the ground in less than 5 seconds
- Flying Aces is the world’s first bi-plane themed roller coaster; this fascinating attraction mimics the movements of the 1900s bi-planes to offer extreme gravity-defying flight acrobatics
- The Turbo Track experience includes launching guests vertically through the iconic red roof to the highest point on Yas Island at a mind blowing 64 meters; this iconic ride also has forward and backward-facing seats for guests to experience the launch in both directions

With summer vacation in full swing, younger guests may need a change of scenery. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has family-friendly fun in store on National Roller Coaster Day. The unrivaled excitement begins with the Family Zone, home to brand-new attractions that are replicas of the Park’s most iconic rides. The whole family can hop aboard Formula Rossa Junior and feel the Ferrari thrills, or even feel the need for speed with Speedway Race.
Another fantastic experience comes with Flying Wings, where guests can soar through the theme park for the ultimate airborne experience. Last but not least, Turbo Tower promises a spectacular aerial view of the theme park for all to discover, launching aspiring Ferrari drivers up into the air and back down for the ultimate zero-gravity fall.
FOR THE THRILL SEEKERS – READY FOR THE CHALLENGE?
Guests looking for a way to accelerate the pace of their day can spend an unforgettable afternoon on the world’s fastest roller coaster, Formula Rossa, with its lightning speed of 0 to 240 km/h in 4.9 seconds. To kick the experience up a notch, this ride is even powered by the same kind of hydraulic winch system used to launch jet planes.
The world will never look the same after this ride.
Next on the list is Flying Aces. This roller coaster is the Park’s first attraction to break not one but three world records including the world’s steepest roller coaster, the world’s fastest inclined cable lift (inclined at a 51-degree angle, with an acceleration of 30 km/h) and the world’s tallest non-inverted loop at 52 meters.
Another stellar roller coaster experience under the iconic red roof takes place aboard Turbo Track; this attraction is sure to leave guests coming back for more adventure as it launches guests at 102 km/h from inside the Park, then back down with its heart-pounding zero-gravity fall.
HUNGRY? MAMMA ROSSELLA’S GOT YOU COVERED
A full day of roller coaster adventures can definitely work up an appetite! Guests can refuel and get a taste of Italy, with Mamma Rossella’s piping hot pizzas and delectable fresh pasta. The signature Italian eatery recently launched a special kids menu that will have younger guests devouring every last bite.
GET DECKED UP FERRARI STYLE
A Ferrari-inspired experience isn’t complete without taking a souvenir home. The theme park is home to the world’s largest Ferrari retail store where guests are spoiled for choice with a wide selection of memorabilia. The Park also recently launched a retail line with Ferrari-branded fashion tailored exclusively to younger guests.
ALWAYS REMEMBER, SAFETY FIRST
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has also enforced stringent restrictions, a modified ride capacity and a modified dining and shopping experiences all for the safety of its guests.
Park guests are requested to maintain social distancing by following the floor markers and stickers placed two meters apart from each other. Guests are also encouraged to wear face masks at all times and sanitize their hands regularly and opt for to contactless payment at all times.
