MINISO’s pop-up is a must-visit this month with photo booths and viral celeb vibes

MINISO’s bringing the fluff to Dubai! The global lifestyle fave has just launched its Fluffy Carnival Pop-up at Dubai Festival City Mall and it’s as fun and adorable as it sounds.

From exclusive vinyl plush blind boxes to Insta-worthy setups and your favourite character collabs, this pop-up is the ultimate playground for plush lovers and collectors alike.

Spanning more than 1,000 square metres, the immersive space is bursting with over 1,000 product SKUs, including exclusive vinyl plush blind boxes, plush toys, accessories, and co-branded collectibles from over 50 international IPs.

Around 70 per cent of the pop-up’s stock is dedicated to fan-favourite collaborations like Sanrio, WAKUKU, and Disney’s Stitch.

To celebrate the opening, viral sensation Bessan Ismail made a special appearance, joining 100 fans in a live unboxing session of MINISO’s vinyl plush blind boxes.

With over 13 million followers across social media, Bessan’s charisma and energy turned the event into a fan frenzy.

Shoppers lined up for meet-and-greets, photo ops, and exclusive merchandise, generating huge online buzz.

On the first day alone, the store saw more than 3,000 visitors, with vinyl plushes making up 90 per cent of total sales and bringing in over AED 150,000 in revenue.

Guests explored life-size character installations, interactive photo booths, and multiple Instagrammable corners. The result? A fun, shareable, and seriously fluffy shopping adventure.
