The event at Yas Links Abu Dhabi is free-of-charge.
The time to get oh so nostalgic is fast approaching and to heighten the feeling, Yas Movies in the Park has announced its movie lineup.
Taking place at Yas Links Abu Dhabi at the start of November, the free community event will see you and the family enjoy six epic classics on the big screen as well as games, food and fashion.
Kicking off the excitement on day one will see the much beloved 90s hit The Lion King roar into life at 5.30pm before Kevin Bacon throws some serious shape in Footloose at 7.30pm.
Guests will also have an interactive experience like no other during the day one showing of Footloose where all-singing and all-dancing performers take to the stage to give guests the immersive experience of their dreams.
Rounding off the evening will be Harrison Ford in the iconic Ark of the Covenant in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark at 9.30pm.
Day two begins with a trip under the sea with Ariel and Sebastian in The Little Mermaid at 5.30pm before Doc and Marty go Back to the Future at 7.30pm. The night ends with a rip-roaring battle as Bruce Willis takes on the bad guys in the legendary Die Hard at 9.30pm.
Speaking on the announcement general manager of BRAG, Omar Kawas, said; “We are so happy to be able to release this exciting line-up of iconic films. This free event aims to bring the community together to relive some of their best childhood memories and watch some timeless classics.
“This festival is certainly not to be missed and is sure to be a fun-filled nostalgia-induced weekend for all the family.”
Promising old school vibes, this phenomenal interactive event will also transport you back in time to the wonders of the 80s where you can reminisce about movies, games and fashion of the bygone era.
