It’s time to get your trainers on and run for a good cause on Saturday 5 February at Zayed Sports City.
Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Bint Saif Al Nayhan, the ADCD Make-A-Wish run sees thousands of runners come together to help raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the UAE’s mission in granting wishes of children suffering from critical illnesses.
The run which is supported by ADCB, International Vision Travel, Zayed Sports City (ZSC) and Al Ain Water, sees participants choose from with 10km, 5km or the family friendly 2.5km run.
Beginning at the Jiu Jitsu Arena at Zayed Sports City, the course takes in the ZSC Stadium, the Ice Rink and the bowling and tennis centres.
Now into its fourth season, the Make-A-Wish run will see the first 900 runners registered receive a commemorative Make-A-Wish t-shirt and all finishers will receive a commemorative Make-A-Wish medal.
Participants over the age of 16 will also receive a three-day pass to the UAEJJ Fitness Gym.
All runners over the age of 16 must present a negative PCR test result on their Al Hosn app in order to compete.
