You have no doubt popped into the Cultural Foundation Abu Dhabi for a look at one of its wonderful exhibits over the past year but have ever wondered how it came into being?
The Al Mujamma exhibition on the first floor tells the story of the arts centre that opened in 1973 under the guidance of the Late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan before closing in 2009 and then reopening once again in 2018.
One of the most prominent heritage buildings in the UAE, the exhibition narrates the building’s memories with multimedia objects, images and videos and highlights its importance to Abu Dhabi residents and those in the wider region.
Entry is free to see the exhibit but a negative PCR test taken within 96 hours, must be presented on the Al Hosn app upon arrival.
