Calling all Mini Makers!!!
The Makerspace is offering Mini Makers aged 4 to 8 years old the chance to get creative in these weekly drop-in creative clinics.
For 20 mins, little ones will learn a fun craft or art activity that they can take home with them all for AED 50 per child.
Marble and Transfer clay
Wednesday 28 July, 3pm-5pm
Little ones will get stuck into creating hand-built objects with air dry clay, mix colours into a marble effect and apply the transfer technique to move their cool drawings to the clays surface.
Block Printing
Wednesday 4 August, 3pm-5pm
Kids will learn to design unique and creative animal shapes and personalize a tote bag with their creations using textile paints and stamps.
Wooden Bird Feeder
Wednesday 11 August, 3pm-5pm
Children will learn how to assemble and decorate a beautiful wooden laser cut bird feeder to hang in the neighbourhood for their little feathery friends.
Felt Pouch
Wednesday 18 August, 3pm-5pm
A unique felt pouch that children will create with their own design, to take with them wherever they go!
Geometric Vase
Wednesday 25 August, 3pm-5pm
It’s time to get messy as kids explore the skills needed to build their very own colourful, geometric vase from plaster
Please note that a guardian must stay with their child at all times, this is not a drop-off workshop.
Guardians will be asked to participate and help their child with the activities. It is best to dress children in clothes that can get messy!
