2019 will see Abu Dhabi play host to the Red Bull Air Race for the 12th time! It will once again kick-off the season as the action-packed opener on the 8th & 9th of February and will be open to the public.
Officially accredited by the World Air Sports Federation, the Red Bull Air Race World Championship features the world’s best racing pilots in an exhilarating motorsport competition.
The courses require a combination of speed, tactical precision, and technical skill. Handling the most agile aircrafts in their class, the pilots reach riveting speeds of up to 370kph, and must face a G-force of up to 12G, while navigating a low-altitude slalom course.
With an initial vision to create the world’s most advanced aerial challenge, Red Bull Air Race has now become an iconic must-see competition, that still – to this day – never fails to exceed expectations.
