One of the toughest endurance races on the planet is coming to test the mettle and stamina of even the hardest of Abu Dhabi’s athletes this December.
From 2 to 5 December, competitors will run, jump and crawl through all sorts of obstacles and terrain at the Spartan World Championships in Liwa City
Held outside the USA for the first time in its history, the championships will encompass the Moreeb Dunes where participants can compete in a choice of four races; the night super 10k (25 obstacles); beast 21k (30 obstacles); Spartan Kids’ Race; and the 10k team’s race (25 obstacles).
There will also be a number of activations for visitors to enjoy including local fare, cultural demonstrations and dune buggies.
