Friday 12 November offers Abu Dhabians a chance to stretch their legs while raising awareness and funds for a good cause.
The World Diabetes Run at Al Hudayriyat Mar Vista provides runners with the option to run (or walk) on 21.1Km, 10Km, 5Km or 3Km legs.
The course will take in 321 Sports, CircuitX, OCR Park, Bab Al Nojoum Resort, the Heritage Trial and the Hudayriyat Island Whale Sculpture.
Presented by HealthPlus Diabetes and Endocrinology Center, A Mubadala Health Partner, and Moorfields Eye Hospital Centre in collaboration with the UAE Special Olympics, the half Marathon will start from 6am followed by the 10K at 6.30am, 5K at 7am and 3K at 7.15am
To participate, everyone over the age of 16 must be vaccinated and present a negative PCT test result taken within 96 hours of the event on their Al Hosn app.
