The 50 Best Restaurants in the MENA region will be named.
The great and good of the globe’s culinary community will be descending on the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers for the inaugural edition of the Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards Show.
Taking place from 4 to 8 February, the programme of events will see #50BestTalks MENA: United Through Food, a thought-leadership forum and a live chef-led 50 Best Masterclasses.
There will also be a series of dining events helmed by international and local chefs including an exclusive dinner to be held at Tori No Su, Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers with Natsuko Shoji, Asia’s Best Pastry Chef 2020 and the owner of Été, an exclusive one-table, six-seat restaurant in Shibuya, in the heart of Tokyo where you can tuck into delicious dishes like King Crab Tart, Cold Tomato Soup/Flounder & Fruit Tartar, Caviar Mille-Feuille, Edamame Shrimp Flan, Mackerel Taco & Salsa MB7 Wagyu Beef and Truffle Mango Tart.
Some 19 countries will be participating in the programme which will culminate a showpiece VIP event, the MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants on 7 February.
Speaking ahead of the event, General Manager of Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, Alessandro Redaelli, says the hotel whose food and beverage offering is considered the best and most innovative in the capital, is the perfect setting, is ready to host a grand show.
He says: “Being able to host such a prestigious event within our property celebrating the crème de la crème of the MENA food and beverage industry is an absolute honour.”
