Discover the ‘true essence’ of Japanese cuisine at the Nihon Hiru brunch.
Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi is already home to a number of fabulous dining spots, not least Tori No Su, which dishes up some of the most authentic Japanese dishes in the capital, if not in the UAE.
Now there’s even more reason to book a table, as Tori No Su has rolled out the Nihon Hiru brunch, launching the first one 25 September. And by all accounts, it was a huge hit!
Undoubtedly the Nihon Hiru brunch adds something different to the capital’s popular brunch scene. Set to raise the bar, the Nihon Hiru, which is Japanese for afternoon / midday, brunch runs every Friday from 12.30 to 4pm.
Book and Kaiseki-trained chef Ando Takashi and his award-winning team will whisk you away to the very heart of Japan, with a hand-crafted menu featuring a range of eclectic flavours.
As expected for a restaurant of this caliber, courses are perfectly paired. Starters include Japanese favourites such as Miso Soup, Prawn and Scallop Gyozas and Chicken Harumaki.
For mains, tuck into Grilled Salmon with Miso Mayonnaise, Tuna Steak, Beef Yakisoba and Chicken Teriyaki, among others. Brunch-goers will also be able to enjoy the sushi and sashimi station, and yakitori station.
But don’t fill up too much; you won’t to miss dessert, which include Matcha Tiramisu and Hot Chocolate Pudding.
If this has piqued your interests, and wouldn’t it, and you’re raring to book, you can choose from two packages: Soft drinks package at AED or upgrade to the AED 350 AED per person, which includes international and Japanese beverages for three hours.
In other happenings, Yalla recently reported how Jumeirah at Etihad Towers is about to rebrand to Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers. This will be the first of Hilton’s luxury portfolio to operate in the UAE capital and will open 1 October 2020.
