An afternoon tea fit for queen or king in Abu Dhabi

A touch of joie de vivre on an English pursuit.

French interpretations on English pastimes (and vice-versa for that matter), usually do not have the desired crossover effect.

However, a voyage to Emirates Palace’s plush Le Café for the venue’s afternoon tea will soon have you believing that a touch of Gallic flair and French brilliance can add that extra je ne sais quoi to any outing.

Offering guests the opportunity to dine like royalty in the opulence of Emirates Palace, Le Café’s afternoon tea takes place underneath the hotel’s magnificent grand dome.

Afternoon tea-goers can nibble on perfectly crafted, artisanal sandwiches that are filled with delicacies from the land, sky and sea for starters before moving on to mouth-watering pastries and herbal infusions to satisfy any quivering sweet tooth.

Served daily from 2pm to 6pm, the royal pursuit at Le Café can be enjoyed for AED 485 per couple.
