Enjoy a piz-za Rome in Abu Dhabi.

Gastronomes of Abu Dhabi listen up as we have some tasty news that will tickle the Italian grub receptors of your brain.

Antonia has thrown open its doors on Soul Beach in Mamsha Al Saadiyat and the restaurant is promising flavours of Rome sprinkled with Nonna’s love.

Decked out in black and white strips with touches of cherry red and mint green, Antonia will be pleasuring the palate with a selection of antipasti, organic salads, Supplì (Rome’s famous street food), sweet and cold pizzas and desserts.

There will also be weekly specials like Vongole Mondays, Gnocchi Tuesdays and Sea Urchin Wednesdays to get you excited.

Antonia Opens Its Door On Soul Beach

The brainchild of chef and restaurant owner, Simone Federici, diners are promised slices of pizza that have been fermented for 72 hours, made with 80 per cent water, Italian flour, olive oil, salt and a proprietary, 50-year-old sour dough passed down through family generations.

And of course, no piece of pie would be complete with something smooth to wash it down with Italian grape and hops being also available.

We’ll see you there.
