AKABEKO marks Emirati Women’s Day with a soulful seafood menu

Akabeko emirati women's day

The weekend celebration honours feminine creativity and connection

In honour of Emirati Women’s Day, AKABEKO is hosting a heartfelt weekend celebration from 28 to 31 August, crafted to honour women of valour through food, creativity, and thoughtful detail.

The experience is rooted in collaboration between two of AKABEKO’s leading female talents – the General Manager and the pâtissier – who’ve curated a soulful culinary journey as a tribute to feminine strength.

Guests can choose from two exclusive offerings:

Taste of Tide: A curated menu of Japanese seafood dishes, inspired by the meeting of mountains and sea, and sourced from nutrient-rich waters.

Highlights include:

Assorted Nigiri – AED 65

Chirashi – AED 95

Tartare of the Day – AED 80

Carpaccio of the Day – AED 80

Servers will guide diners through the tasting experience, sharing the story behind each dish.

To begin, every guest is welcomed with a complimentary artisanal drink, your choice from five mocktails or three cold-brew teas.

Adding a personal touch, each table will have their Polaroid moment captured and mounted on a custom postcard to take home as a keepsake from the evening.
