Your food delivery just got cool!
Italians do it better so they say and now with the uber cool Vespa about to be used as the mode transport to deliver your food order, it seems that old adage could be true.
So which restaurant is it and when will those Italian wasps (The meaning of Vespa in English) be delivering your order of Focaccia al Rosamarino or Spaghetti Aglio straight to your door?
To answer the first question, the restaurant no other than Antonia, a bijou Italian eatery decked out in fresh vintage design located on Mamsha Al Saadiyat. The restaurant is the real deal, dishing up Italian fare just like nanna made. And judging by the queues waiting when we last visited, you know you are in for a treat.
Simone Federici is the brainchild and restaurant owner behind the restaurant and in a recent interview he exclusively revealed to Team Yalla that we should expect to see Vespas hit the road delivering our orders on that all Italian classic, the Vespa.
No dates have been set as yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we hear more.
