All About Noodles at Sontaya
Offering stunning views of the lowering sun from its gorgeous terrace, Sontaya is the place to be this November if noodles is a dish for which you are searching. Inspired by the Thai word for sunset, Sontaya is dishing out a menu for the month of six specially curated noodle dishes. Serving up a mix of salads, soups, main courses and desserts, highlights include fresh and colourful spicy noodle salad, traditional Indonesian noodle soup with beef and creamy Thai seafood and noodle curry.
Served à la carte and available exclusively until 30 November, the All About Noodles menu is available every evening from 6pm until midnight.
The Perfect Match at the Manhattan Lounge
Take a trip back to the roaring ‘20s with the elegant and sophisticated Manhattan Lounge. Pairing the barrel-aged speciality beverages from across the globe with world-renowned cigars, guests can relax in an ambiance reminiscent of the higher-class establishments of New York from the early part of last century. The Perfect Match experience from noon to midday until 30 November.
Nikkei Brunch at Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi
New to The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort’s culinary offerings is the Nikkei Brunch at Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi. Introducing the combined tastes of Japanese and Peruvian cooking, guests are promised a curated menu of more than 20 sumptuous, fusion dishes.
Choose between beautifully coloured interiors or the wide-open terrace overlooking the pristine white sands of the resort’s private beach, brunchers can enjoy the tastes crafted by Head Chef Renzo Reyes. Tuck into the ‘From the sea to your plate’ platter, consisting of veggie ceviche, ceviche, tuna midori ceviche and salmon truffle tataki, before moving onto delicious bites like authentic beef aged gyoza and prawn tempura, beef robatayaki and black pepper chicken.
The Nikkei Brunch can be enjoyed on two three-hour sittings on Friday, from 1pm to 4pm or 7pm onwards.
The Chef’s Table at Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi
Showcasing one the most picturesque views that any venue has to offer in the capital, Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi is inviting you to sample it’s terrific four-course menu Chef’s Table menu throughout the month of November.
A part of the emirate’s annual food festival, Abu Dhabi Culinary Season, diners are presented with a selection of decadent cold starters like tuna shake ssam bap and ceviche alongside a variety of hot starters like wagyu short rib bao and lobster dumplings.
Continuing the gastronomic journey along the Pacific Rim and Peru, black cod kaameshi and baby chicken brasa are just two exquisite samples from the main course food card created by Head Chef Renzo. And for those with a sweet tooth, obtain that sugary kick before concluding your night with yucamoshi and crème brûlée. Available until 27 November, The Chef’s Table Menu is available Monday to Wednesday, from 5pm to midnight and Thursday and Saturday, from noon to midnight.
Nazka at Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi
If the flavours of fusion food are something that set your taste buds tingling then a visit to the wonderfully aesthetic Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi for the Nazka menu must be pencilled into your schedule.
With a full offering of food and beverages that cannot be found anywhere else in Abu Dhabi, Peruvian flavours and ingredients are combined with Japanese cooking techniques to produce colourful maki rolls, softshell crab tempura, tori robata and more. Joining these dishes is a superb range of fusion beverages from Japan and Peru. And while you get to tuck into the unique flavours of Nazka, they can chill out to the sounds of deep house music in the stylish surrounds of Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi. You can enjoy the Nazka menu from Monday to Wednesday from 5pm to midnight and Thursday to Saturday from noon to midnight.
Grills, Tagines & More at Olea
Treat yourself to the tastes of Moroccan and Arabic specialties and top-quality carved meats. Grills and tagines nights at Olea restaurant, sees a lavish buffet of mouth-watering options including pates, terrines, antipasti and iced seafood of tuna ceviche and marinated mackerel.
Continuing to the mains, diners can expect an immense range of meats and seafood, all grilled to order alongside paella, biryani, tagines featuring chicken, beef, lamb and tangy fish, and a live station serving shrimp chermoula. If that doesn’t tempt diners, then check out the live pasta station, rotisserie duck, baked whole red snapper and more from around the planet.
And should there be space for dessert, reward yourself with sweet treats like fresh grilled fruits with ice cream, tiramisu, chocolate brownies and luxe red velvet and banana caramel. The Grills, Tagines & More menu is available to sample on Thursday and Friday until the end of November from 7pm to 11pm.
The Signature 3 – Signature Steak Cuts
A new dining concept that is attracting all steak connoisseurs of Abu Dhabi to the table, The Signature 3 is laying out three delicious cuts of tender meat for diners’ consideration and enjoyment.
USA Angus Beef Tenderloin, USA Prime New York Striploin and Blackmore Farms Wagyu Rib Eye are presented with choice of sides and sauces that have chosen to bring out the best flavours of the cuts of meat. But before feasting on the tender slab of meat, guests begin their experience with an array of starters like rich burrata.
However, if steak doesn’t excite the gastronomic receptors of the brain, then delve into delightful options like a Chilean seabass or a vegetarian truffle and wild mushroom black ravioli. The newly introduced concept of The Signature 3 is available daily from noon to midnight.
Wellness Bubble Therapy at Iridium Spa
In the build up to the busy December season, remember to set some ‘me-time’ aside to relax, recharge and rejuvenate. At the splendid Spa Terrace, guests can enjoy the limited-edition Wellness Bubble Therapy treatment while taking in the gentle sunrays of the UAE’s winter sun.
Spa goers will enter a high-powered bubble containing 99.9 per cent oxygen which helps the skin to release any toxins and enhance levels of collagen and elastin. The process will also assist in removing the signs of aging.
But that is not all?
Guests will experience a guided mediation and sound healing practice session with specially trained therapists before undergoing a full-body massage that is customised to each individual’s needs before receiving a facial or foot massage.
