The fantastic four brunches at The Abu Dhabi EDITION

Brunch every Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

When it comes to the weekend in Abu Dhabi, brunching is high on our agenda.

Thursday, Friday or Saturday, is a time where gastronomes of the capital come alive with great food, refreshing drinks and of course, those easy-going vibes.

One establishment that loves brunch almost as Team Yalla is The Abu Dhabi EDITION. Serving not one but four different brunch options, brunchers are guaranteed to walk away from the hotel with smiles on their faces and a happy sense of satisfaction that they have enjoyed a delicious experience in a setting that would not look out of place in one of Ian Fleming’s famous novels.

Turn to a new chapter at Library Bar

Kick the weekend off with The Writer’s Block at Library Bar on Thursday evening. Set in gorgeous surroundings where the entrance is closed off with a velvet curtain, everything about the brunch is elegant and sophisticated with unlimited literature inspired beverages, concocted at the classy mixed drinks bars and delectable nibbles served up chapters that include cold cuts, cheeses, lobster tacos, beef tartar charcoal cones, spice beef pizza, Wagyu skewers and smoked chocolate truffles.

A three-hour experience from 6pm to 11pm, this is one brunch in the capital about which you will definitely be writing home.

Rock a roast at Oak Room

Moving onto Friday and the only problem diners will encounter on the day is which brunch to choose. From 12.30pm to 5pm at the Oak Room, carnivores can sink their teeth into a hearty range of meats like USDA prime tenderloin, Phoenix Wagyu rump and Australian lamb rack while listening to old school tunes from Auld Blighty in a contemporary and traditional oak panelled English restaurant. Those with a sweet tooth are treated with Eton Mess and drool inducing sticky toffee pudding. All drinks are specially crafted but Team Yalla’s top tip is to sample the Oak Room Sourdough with English Marmite Butter. Trust us, you won’t be disappointed.

Feel the beat at Annex

If you’re looking to let your hair down then plump for the Annex Amapiano Brunch. Set on the rooftop, the venue offers up beautiful views of the Abu Dhabi skyline as well as funky, top-tapping South African beats that will get you in the mood to party. Free-flowing bites like sliders, tacos and baos go down a real treat as you throw shapes at one of the capital’s hottest venues.

Take a trip to the Mediterranean

If brunch is a little bit too extravagant then a visit to Alba Terrace is the venue for you. More of a fantastic lunch, this dining experience on the restaurant’s Insta-tastic open terrace, dishes out a mix of classical Mediterranean bites and fresh delights from the poolside wood-fired over. Taking place, every Friday and Saturday, enjoy three hours of Mediterranean majesty in the heart of Abu Dhabi.
