A venue that honours the past.
Great dining attacks all of the senses and is much more than just what you taste.
Experience Flavors Grill, an Abu Dhabi homegrown restaurant located in the old trading port of Mina Zayed, and you will savour dishes cooked using techniques from the 18th century, a time before electric ovens and refrigerators when mothers would cook with the tools that nature provided for them.
Behind this ingenious concept is Chef Nabeel who learned the tricks of the trade by observing his father, a leading chef de cuisine with 50 years of experience working in luxury hotels across the Levant before settling in Abu Dhabi.
It was here he developed his long-held belief that food should be an experience of the senses and Flavors was born, first as a touring spectacle that brought great food and an enchanting atmosphere to wherever his clients needed.
Great success followed both here in the capital and Abu Dhabi, but in 2018 his love of his family inspired him to put down roots once and for all and he launched his first bricks and mortar restaurant, Flavors Grill, in the capital’s Mina Zayed, far from the glitzy glamour of downtown Abu Dhabi.
Today, Flavors Grill can be found in Port Rachid, Dubai and will be serving international visitors at the long-awaited Expo 2020 Dubai.
Stay tuned for the October edition of Yalla – Abu Dhabi Life when we shine the spotlight even brighter on Flavors Grill and its multi-talented Chef Nabeel.
