Big update on Abu Dhabi visa process

There are 12 Disease Prevention & Screening centres in the emirate.

The process of booking your visa screening in Abu Dhabi will become a lot easier as Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has launched the new SEHA Visa Screening App.

Simplifying the process of booking an appointment at one of SEHA’s Disease Prevention & Screening Centres for residents, it is hoped the app, which is available to download for iOS and Android phones, will streamline the booking process and reduce waiting times.

Previously residents visited one of the 12 centres on a walk-in basis but the new app will enable you to select an allotted time to suit your schedule.

Dr Omar Al Hashmi, Chief Clinical Affairs Officer at Ambulatory Healthcare Services, said: “In alignment with SEHA’s patient-centric approach to delivering the best healthcare, we remain committed to providing world-class services to the public.

“Through the new SEHA Visa Screening app, we ensure a seamless and convenient process when visiting our Disease Prevention & Screening Centers, limiting the need for queuing.

“Our clients continue to be at the center of everything we do and we continue to focus on our mission to provide convenient, safe and accessible visa services throughout Abu Dhabi.”

Currently the booking format is only available for individual booking with the intention to extend the service to businesses at a later stage.

SEHA’s 12 Disease Prevention & Screening Centres are located in in Abu Dhabi City, Mussafah, Al Shahama, Baniyas and Etihad Visa Screening Center in addition to Sweihan, Madinat Zayed, Delma, Sila, Ghayathi and Al Marfa in Al Ain.

All applicants must present a negative PCR test taken within the last 72 hours or a green pass on the Al Hosn app upon arrival.
