FBMA Showjumping Cup
The 5th FBMA International Show Jumping Cup takes place this weekend at the Al Forsan International Sports Resort, from Thursday 1- Saturday 3 March. This year an estimated 120 riders from over 20 countries including UAE are expected to compete for the title and the prestigious prizes the Cup awards, totaling AED 650,500. Open to the public from 8am to 10pm and free of charge to attend
Kite Fest
The third annual Kite Festival returns to the Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara on Sir Bani Yas Island on Friday 2nd March, from 11am. There’s plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, including a free BBQ, beach games, kayaking, pony rides, archery, and music, and if you want to have a go at making your own kite, kite kits are available free of charge with lots of prizes up for grabs.
Trucker Beats at Yas Links
Trucker Beats at Yas Links Golf Club! The famous Food Truck community is heading back to Yas Links Golf Club on Friday March 2 with a brand new concept to please the foodies and music lovers of Abu Dhabi. Truckers Beats will feature the best food trucks in the UAE and see up and coming musical talents compete for a grand prize of AED20,000
Decked-out weekends at Yas Marina
Every weekend starting from Friday March 2, Yas Marina’s promenade will be transformed into a hub of family fun entertainment with a street-festival style atmosphere. There’ll be crowd- pleasing roaming entertainment, street artists, children’s performers, live music, games stalls, market stalls and a tasty selection of food stations.
ITU World Triathlon
The ITU World Triathlon is back in Abu Dhabi for the fourth time on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd March, kicking off the global triathlon season with a fast and furious race between the world’s best triathletes. Plus, there’s a host of community races for non-professionals to take part in too, whether you’re a beginner of experienced athlete.
