Abu Dhabi Festival
Organised by Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation, the annual Abu Dhabi Festival is the largest cultural celebration in the entire region and reaches across the world through co-commissions and the international presentation of innovative Arab creativity. The exciting programme kicks off this weekend with the Merchants of Bollywood on March 8 and 9 at Emirates Palace Auditorium.
ADCB Zayed Sports City 5 & 10K Run
Zayed Sports City will be filled with energetic runners on Friday March 9, as hundreds of people take part in the popular ADCB Zayed Sports City 5k or 10k race in this season’s closing run. Sponsored by Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and Daman’s Activelife, the event is organised by Gulf Multi Sport and the Abu Dhabi Striders running group.
Brunch at Emirates Palace
Brunch at Emirates Palace is an unforgettable experience and one that should definitely be on everyone’s UAE brunch bucket list. Aside from the fantastic menu, the setting is ideal for chilling out, catching up, and soaking in the sun with friends and family. Held in Las Brisas restaurant, brunch packages start from AED370 per adult, and from AED180 per child, children under 10 dine for free.
Decked-out weekends at Yas Marina
Every weekend, Yas Marina’s promenade will be transformed into a hub of family fun entertainment with a street-festival style atmosphere. There’ll be crowd- pleasing roaming entertainment, street artists, children’s performers, live music, games stalls, market stalls and a tasty selection of food stations.

The Special Olympics IX MENA Games Abu Dhabi 2018 will take place in Abu Dhabi from March 14- 23 2018, ahead of the national games next year. Nearly 1,800 athletes with intellectual disabilities of all ages and abilities will come together from across the region to compete in 16 sports.
