This Abu Dhabi cinema is showing movies for absolutely free

All takes place on Saadiyat.

Attention cinephiles of Abu Dhabi, Cinema Space Abu Dhabi has dusted off the projector and is once again lighting up the big screen this December at Manarat Al Saadiyat.

Running until the 17 December, you can enjoy some restored classics and contemporary modern cinema from around the globe free of charge.

Today (13 December) sees Belfast, a tale about boy’s personal experiences in 1960s Northern Ireland where the explosion of sectarian violence threatens to tear society apart, aired on the projector. Featuring the likes of Ciaran Hinds, Catriona Balfe, Jamie Dornan and Judie Dench, the screening begins at 7.30pm.

But if you can’t make tonight other screenings include The Muppet Christmas Carol, The Three Disappearances of Soad Hosni and Trip Along Exodus.

All movie-goers must present a green pass on their Al Hosn app to gain entry and facemasks must be worn at all times.
