The Franck Muller Aeternitas Tower will be Dubai’s first-ever residential clock tower, and we can’t wait!

Home to Burj Khalifa, Dubai is now all set to add another record-breaking high rise to its skyline.

The tallest residential clock tower in the world is soon coming to the emirate, specifically to Dubai Marina.

The collaboration comes between Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Franck Muller and UAE’s premium real estate developer, London Gate. Titled the Franck Muller Aeternitas Tower, it marks the brand’s first venture into the world of real estate.

‘Clocking in’ at 450 metres, the tower is named after the famous watch, with the website claiming it to be the most complicated watch in the world with 36 complications and 1,483 components.

According to their Instagram, residents can expect a handover as early as 2026.

The upcoming tower will join other famous buildings such as the Burj Khalifa, which at 825 metres is the world’s tallest building; The Dubai Mall, which is the world’s largest mall with an area of 1,124,000 square metres; and the Dubai Frame, which is 150-metres tall and 93-metres wide. It is also the largest photo frame in the world.

And while it may be the first residential clock tower in the emirate, Dubai already has the iconic Deira Clocktower Roundabout. Post its recent makeover, the space has revamped with a fresh and stylish new look to the historic landmark.
