Abu Dhabi Summer Season (ADSS) is shaping up to offer residents and visitors to the capital a summer full of fun surprises. While ADSS will offer a season of fun events, many will come for the shopping, and ADSS’s unique shop and win promotion from 29 June – 18 August is one not to miss.
‘Unbox the Amazing’ at more than 10 participating malls across Abu Dhabi. Created especially for this year’s season, the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT) will host a ‘game show’ style event in participating malls to give shoppers the opportunity to “unbox the amazing” and win exciting prizes, both digitally and in person, when they spend more than AED 250 in shops. Throughout the summer season, shoppers may also avail themselves of discounts of up to 80% off!
In addition to the deep discounts, shoppers will enjoy musical and performing acts and non-stop on-the-spot prize-giving. Each shopping mall will have a performance stage, interactive games, a game show host, and a fun spin the wheel competition will travel to each participating mall on their select weekend to allow winners the chance to ‘unbox the amazing’ via a wall of boxes when they make a minimum AED 1,000 spend.
There will also be an online promotion, so no one is left out of the fun! There will be chances to win clothing, accessories, gift vouchers, luxury gifts and even cars. Shoppers who spend over AED 250 have the opportunity to ‘unbox the amazing’ online, and also enter the grand prize giveaway to win a car. It’s a win-win situation; win amazing prizes, whilst still shopping for those summer essentials (it basically justifies itself!).
The eight participating malls include Marina Mall (29-30 June), Khalidyah Mall (6-7 July), Deerfields (13 – 14 July), Dalma Mall (20 – 21 July), Bawabat Al Sharq Mall (27-28 July), Al Wahda Mall (3 – 4 Aug), Hili Mall (10 – 11 Aug), and WTC Mall (17 – 18 Aug).
