Free bus launched to Sheikh Zayed Festival

Buses will operate from 3pm to 6pm.

One of the world’s greatest cultural gatherings, Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival, is underway and there is great news if you’re travelling from Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre will be operating free bus travel to the festival in Al Wathba from Abu Dhabi’s main terminal.

Operating every hour from 3pm to 6pm from the nation’s capital, you can catch the return bus from Al Wathba from 5pm to 10pm.

There will also be pick-up stops at Bani Yas Bus Station and the Bain Al Jessrain Co-operative Society Supermarket on both routes.

The Sheikh Zayed Festival launched last Thursday and will run until 1 April 2022 will immerse visitors via a range of events and major entertainment shows aimed at promoting and preserving the UAE’s culture, heritage and traditions.

Entry is AED 5 and can be paid online or at the gate.

The venue is open from 4pm to 11pm on weekdays and until midnight at weekends.

Facemasks are mandatory and in order to gain entry a negative PCR test on the Al Hosn app taken within 96 hours of arrival must be presented.
