While it may have the look, taste and juicy bite of the famous IKEA meatball, these delicious plant-based ‘meatballs’, do not contain any animal protein or ingredients. Not only that, it is only four percent of the climate footprint. So, you’ll be helping to save the planet too!
The plant-based ball is full of natural goodness, including pea protein, potatoes, onion, oats and apple, with added umami flavours, like mushroom, tomato and a powder from roasted vegetables.
Meat lover or not, the plant ball is more sustainable than red meat and can help reduce your carbon footprint by a whopping 73 percent.
IKEA recently launched the soft opening of its second Abu Dhabi branch, which is located at Al Wahda Mall, and officially opens 18 November. IKEA also has a store in Yas Mall, on Yas Island.
