One of the world’s grandest mosques is right here in Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a brilliant place in which to immerse kids in heritage and culture and not to mention to learn about Islam too. Kids will be able to learn about the different types of architecture that forms the mosque, that have been incorporated from different Muslim civilisations. There’s no doubt that kids will be in awe of this architectural wonder.

Get creative!
#MakeAndPLay at the Museum is an excellent way to get your kids involved in the world of international art and there’s no better place to do it than at the spectacular Louvre Abu Dhabi.
Although you will have to prebook, the drop-in classes are a hive of activity with kids creating something unique, having a great time and learning about art – what could be better?
Kids can put their hands and imagination to creating their very own flipbook, a helmet, a mask, a costume, or a paper horse, in four activity stations available with materials. There are even educators on hand to give your little ones an extra helping hand, and materials are also provided.

Edutainment
Learning through fun is always a great activity for the kids. Thankfully, Kidzania – Yas Mall does just that through its impressive, interactive mini city! There are more than 40 roleplay activities for kids and teens aged 4 to 16, encouraging them to learn about working, jobs, money and the real world, all while developing true-to-life skills that can’t be learned in the classroom.

Kids eat free
Shopping has to be done and most times you have to take the little ones with you. We suggest you head to Abu Dhabi Mall where not only are there are a number of play centres, but until 28 August your kids can get to eat free at certain eateries.
