Lewis Capaldi and Khalid to headline Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concerts

Fans will only be permitted to attend one concert.

Lewis Capaldi and Khalid have been announced as the headline acts for this year’s Yasalam After-Race Concerts.

The gigs which will take place during the final Formula 1 round of the season, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, will see the Scottish swooner serenade race fans on Saturday 11 December.

US superstar Khalid will perform on the Etihad Park stage in Yas Island two days earlier on Thursday 9 December in what will be his first live show in the UAE.

Two more major acts are soon to be announced for the Friday and Sunday night slots.

Entrance to the after-race concerts is strictly for F1 ticket-holders and due to precautionary measures, visitors will only be permitted to attend one concert.

Two and three-day ticket holders will be able to choose one concert on either Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday night with one-day ticket holders attending the concert on their stated day.

This year’s race at Yas Marina circuit sees the return of fans after the 2020 edition was held behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
