If at the end of a busy week you’re looking for a family night out, a great evening out can be had at Parmigiana, Sofitel Abu Dhabi. With hungry big or little kids in tow, who love Italian food, this restaurant is a hidden gem! Parmigiana runs Buon Cibo, a Thursday evening brunch at excellent value for all the family, which means you can eat the freshest antipasti, unlimited pizza, main course and dessert, plus drinks for an all inclusive price.
We started the evening with a great choice of delicious salads, antipasti, bruschetta, seafood and cured meats. The ingredients and the taste were fresh and flavoursome. Wood-fired oven prepared thin-crusted pizzas then followed, and these will satisfy the stomachs of even the hungriest of kids. Saving some room, we all tried different main courses, lasagna, crumbed chicken fillet with tomato and cheese – Parmigiana Di Pollo – with the stand out main course being the Angus beef fillet – Tagliata Di Filetto Con Rucola Scaglie E Balsamico – a wonderful dish that we would definitely order again. By this point, only the kids had room for dessert with the gelato being a big hit.
The staff are extremely charming, the service is excellent and we left feeling very satisfied having enjoyed some great family time, great food and we were not out of pocket. We do recommend this restaurant, it’s well worth a visit. We will be returning.
