Cute wicker baskets, red and white picnic blankets, tasty sandwiches and crisps; we all love a picnic in Abu Dhabi and on 15 January you can get your picnic kicks at Louvre Abu Dhabi.
Taking place on the museum grounds, you and three others can help yourself to a picnic box packed full of the usual delicious picnic suspects as well as indulge at the soft serve stations and brownie pop-ups.
And while the children are occupying themselves with ‘make and play’ activities and painting on an artist’s easel, mum and dad can do a spot of shopping as well as soak up the live entertainment and music throughout the day.
All you have to do is pre-order your picnic box for four from Aptitude Café or Nectar online, collect your basket, find a quiet spot underneath the palm trees and enjoy.
All picnickers over the age 16 must present a negative PCR test not exceeding 48 hours to attend the event.
