There will be seven stages over seven days.
The race routes of the 2022 UAE Tour have been confirmed and rubber will first meet tarmac in Madinat Zayed.
Starting on Sunday 20 February and running for seven stages over seven days, the world’s best riders will descend on the city for the Al Ain Water Stage which will encompass some 185km of Abu Dhabi road.
The second stage will then move onto the capital where riders will start at the beautiful Al Hudayriyat Island before finishing at Abu Dhabi Breakwater after 173km.

Stage three – G42 Stage – will be a 9km individual time trial event through Ajman before the peloton moves to the stage four and the first mountain route from Fujairah Fort to Jebel Jais (181km).
The Marjan Stage (stage five) will see riders race from Ras Al Khaimah’s Corniche to AL Marjan Island before arriving at the world’s greatest show Expo 2020 Dubai for stage sixth.
The event concludes in the Garden City of Al Ain as participants attempt to conquer the mighty Jebel Hafeet.
The only Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) World Tour event to take place in the Middle East, this will be the fourth staging of the race.
UAE Team Emirates star and number one world ranked Tadej Pogacar is the defending champion and he will be returning to defend his title.
