It has been reported in The National UAE that a number of schools in Abu Dhabi have made the decision to close their schools and return to online-learning arrangements.
The National also reported that one of the schools would only partially close, preferring to close a number of classrooms instead.
The news outlet reported that the reason for the move is due “Covid-19 cases were detected in their communities”.
The report said that “Cranleigh Abu Dhabi sent a letter to parents confirming the school would switch to remote learning due to Covid-19 cases detected at the school”.
The report also said that “all year groups – from nursery to year 13 – would now be taught through distance learning programmes.
The British International School Abu Dhabi has, according to the report “moved some year groups in their school to virtual learning, after some cases were detected.”
