All schools to close in Al Ain

Construction sites shut down too.

Prepare to batten down the hatches as Storm Shaheen is sweeping in across the south of Abu Dhabi.

And in response to the high winds, authorities have taken the decision to close all educational institutions in Al Ain on Monday (4 October) and Tuesday (5 October).

Distant learning will take place over the course of the next two days.

 

 

In addition to schools being closed, construction workers have been ordered to immediately secure all sites with work being suspended from 4pm today (Sunday 3 October) up until and including Tuesday 5 October.

Authorities have urged members of the public to be careful and exercise caution and to follow updates from all official source.
