Spirulina Super-Smoothie Recipe

High in protein and packed full of vitamins and anti-oxidants, the Spirulina Smoothie is a fantastic post-workout snack. Here’s the full recipe:

  • 1 Cup of pear, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 Cup of cashew nuts
  • 1 Tsp of chia seeds
  • 1 Tsp of flax
  • 1/2 Tsp of spirulina powder
  • 1/4 Cup of spinach leaves
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1 Cup almond milk

What is Spirulina?

Spirulina is a natural “algae” (cyanbacteria) powder that has so many health-boosting qualities. Here’s why you should be included the super-food in your diet:
