Here’s how drivers can get rid off up to four black points

Accident-Free-Day In Uae

Be a part of ‘Accident-Free Day’

No accidents, and four lesser black points too!

Rolling alongside the new school year, the Federal Traffic Council has introduced a new national campaign, the ‘Accident-Free Day’.

Participants can claim the deduction by signing the pledge available via social media links, or Ministry of Interior website.

Essentially, drivers will not be recording any traffic violations or accidents on this day in keeping with the theme, serving motivation for most days to be sans accidents or traffic violations.

Participants who maintain this commitment will receive a reward of four black traffic points deducted from their record.

Abu Dhabi has been working towards increased road safety for a while now, especially focusing on school zones.

This includes enhancements to pedestrian crossings, the optimisation of traffic safety infrastructure, removal of obstructions near schools and the upkeep of traffic signs.
