PCR tests to cost AED 50 in Abu Dhabi

Comes into effect today, 31 August.

Listen up Abu Dhabians because we have some good news that will keep an extra bit of spare change in your pocket.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has revealed that the price of PCR tests in the country will be Dhs50 at all state medical facilities.

 

 

The new cost which comes into effect today (31 August) sees a saving of Dhs15 and each result must be delivered within 24 hours by health centres and laboratories.

It’s the latest in new measures by the government in the fight against Covid-19 with the news following the recent directive that those who have received two doses of the Sinopharm vaccine requiring an additional booster before September 20 in order to keep the green pass on their Al Hosn app.
