Are you looking to catch the bus from Al Ain to Dubai this January?
Well there has been an update on the bus service from the Roads Transport Authority (RTA) that may be of interest to you.
The RTA has revealed that the only service it is currently providing for anyone travelling from the Garden City to Dubai is for Expo 2020 Dubai visitors holding a ticket for the world’s greatest show.
The direct bus service remains inactive between the two cities remains inactive The RTA confirmed.

Responding to a query from a tweeter, the RTA said “that buses between Dubai and Al Ain are only available for Expo visitors. Noting that a valid Expo ticket is required to ride the buses”.
But it isn’t all disappointing news for bus commuters in Abu Dhabi with the Integrated Transport Centre announcing an increase of daily bus services for the city and its suburbs.
More than 700 daily trips have been added to Friday’s schedule alongside 60 additional daily bus trips on weekdays.
The new services have been introduced as the UAE adjusts to the new working week and weekend.
Services to Ajman, Sharjah and Dubai from Abu Dhabi resumed operations last year 2021 providing passengers from the capital an affordable way to travel to the cities.
