The new ruling rolls on 28 September.
Great news abounds as the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee extends the length of time that the Al Hosn app Green Pass is valid.
From Wednesday 28 September, the green status on the app will now last for 30 days.
Previously it was for 14 days.
People will need to continue to be tested every 30 days in order for their Al Hosn app to remain green.
A negative PCR test on the app will get green status for 30 days. For those who have not been vaccinated, they will be required to produce a negative PCR test result every seven days.
The news comes as UAE authorities announce that the wearing of masks in certain places will become optional from 28 September.
