Al Hosn green pass validity has been extended by Abu Dhabi authorities

The previous validity period was 14 days.

You will only need to undergo a PCR test every 30 days now to maintain a green pass on the Al Hosn app it has been revealed.

Effective today (29 April), the news announced by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee means users will lose their green status after 30 days instead of the previous 14 days.

The update comes after a significant drop in the recording of Covid-19 cases in the UAE.

The news comes as authorities also approved the return to 100 per cent operating capacity in all commercial activities, tourist attractions and events in the emirate.

Members of the public will also still be required to wear masks in indoor spaces.

It is the latest in a series of Covid-19 restrictions that have being eased by Abu Dhabi authorities with recently recovered coronavirus cases not having to retest for 30 days and travel rules eased for UAE citizens.
