India v Pakistan takes place in Dubai on 28 August.
The waiting is over cricket fans of the UAE; Asia Cup tickets are now on sale.
Running from 27 September to 11 September, the tournament sees the major cricketing sides of the continent gather together and battle for regional supremacy.
The first time the competition has been held since 2019, fans will no doubt have their eyes on Sunday 28 August when one of world’s sports greatest rivalries, India v Pakistan, ignites once again at the Dubai International Stadium.
All matches will take place in Dubai or at the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium in Sharjah with games beginning at 6pm every day.
The tournament was due to be hosted in Sri Lanka, however, due to civil unrest, cricketing authorities decided to move the Asia Cup to the UAE who had previously hosted the tournament in 2018.
Played in a T20 format, five teams have already qualified for the six-team Asia Cup with the UAE, Kuwait, Singapore and Hong Kong set to clash later this week for the last spot at a qualifying tournament in Muscat, Oman.
