Good news for Dubai schools! It’s remote learning this Friday in honour of the UAE National Day
The impending UAE National Day has set off a flurry of activities in the country, from some spectacular fireworks sightings to a whole host of things to do.
With a long weekend confirmed for both the public and private sector, the celebrations have everyone excited.
And now, there’s some more great news for students in Dubai!
Private schools, nurseries and universities in Dubai are scheduled to switch to distance learning on Friday, 1 December ahead of the UAE National Day holidays.
The news was confirmed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) on all their social media platforms, in response to an adorable request by a student in Dubai.

The private education regulator added that Monday, 1 December will be a day off and regular lessons will resume on Tuesday, 5 December.
In total, that adds up to four days at home, with 2, 3 and 4 December being official holidays for everyone in the UAE this 52nd National Day.
Upset about this being the last long weekend of the year? No worries at all, because we already have a list of all the public holidays to be expected in 2024!
