Dubai-Sharjah Marine Transport To Resume Soon

Tickets for single journeys start at AED 15

If you’ve been missing the scenic route between Dubai and Sharjah, it’s coming back sooner than you think.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have announced the return of its marine transportation service connecting Sharjah.

Operations are due to resume next week on 4 August, with eight trips a day on weekdays (Monday to Thursday) and six journeys during the weekend (Friday to Sunday).

The ticket for a single journey costs AED 15 for the Silver Class and AED 25 for the Gold Class, which you can purchase at the station or online. Alternatively, you could also use a Nol card.

People of determination and children under five can ride for free.

The Dubai Ferry service shuttles between Al Ghubaiba Marine Station in Dubai and the Aquarium Marine Station in Sharjah, in collaboration with Sharjah’s RTA.

The journey between Al Ghubaiba Station and the Sharjah Aquarium Station takes about 35 minutes.

Departure times from Sharjah will be at 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm, while the trips from Dubai will start at 3pm, 5pm, and 8pm.
