Private sector yet to be announced.
Public sector employees have a four-day weekend to look forward to for Eid al Adha, it has been announced.
The news was reported in The National who said that according to the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, the four-day weekend will begin on Friday 8 July until Monday 11 July.
The private sector has still yet to be announced but in previous years both holidays have been the same.
Eid Al Adha, which is known as the festival of the sacrifice, coincides with the Hajj to Makkah, which is a pilgrimage that all Muslims are expected to make at least once in their lives.
Hajj, a three-day festival, is expected to begin on 7 July.
