The Eid Al Adha confirmed dates are here and we will enjoy a four-day weekend break

A four-day long weekend is happening for residents of the UAE.

Eid Al Adha falls on the Dhul Hijjah 10 (or Arafat Day) after Saudi Arabia sighted the Dhul Hijah moon last night, making Thursday, 5 June as the first day of Dhul Hijjah, meaning Eid Al Adha will fall on Friday, 6 June until Sunday, 8 June.

Work will resume on Monday, 9 June for the public and private sector.

With a nicely sized break on the agenda, it’s time to get planning! Why not have a look at some of the latest destinations you can travel to with Etihad Airways, or indeed take a peek at all the wonderful things to do during Eid in Abu Dhabi?

We can’t wait.
