The resumption of the service will see a B777 aircraft leave Dubai International airport at 7.40am and arrive at London’s second airport at 11.40am (GMT) every day.
The return flight will depart England at 1.35pm and arrive in Dubai the following day at 12.40am (GST).
By the end of 2021 Emirates Airlines will be operating 84 weekly flights to the United Kingdom.
Emirates Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, said the airline was delighted to resume the route between Dubai and Gatwick.
He said: “We’re very pleased to resume Emirates flights to and from London Gatwick, offering more ways for people and businesses to connect with our ever growing global network. With the UK simplifying travel and accepting international vaccination certificates, we’ve seen a big surge in demand as people have been a lot more confident in booking trips for the coming months and further ahead, be it for business, a winter sun escape or to visit family and friends.
“Gatwick has long been a valued partner for Emirates and we look forward to welcoming passengers back onboard an Emirates flight soon.”
