Well it’s good news as Etihad Airways has announced that flights from the Bangladeshi capital to Abu Dhabi will resume on 12 September.
The move comes after the UAE gave the go ahead to residents who have been fully vaccinated with a World Health Organisation approved jab and a valid visa, to enter the UAE.
To obtain permission to enter Abu Dhabi, passengers must also fulfil several requirements including a negative PCR test result done within 48 hours before departure at an approved lab that has a QR code; a rapid PCR test to be taken six hours before boarding with pre-registration for the test having to be completed at least six hours before the flight.
Passengers should also apply via the website of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA), and complete the vaccination application to get the necessary approval in addition to presenting the approved vaccination certification upon departure for the UAE.
Flights from Saudi Arabia to Abu Dhabi relaunched today (11 September) following the lifting of the Saudi flight ban on the UAE.
