FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 match day flight shuttles announced

You will also need a Hayya card to get to the stadium.

Fancy catching a game at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 but not staying overnight in Doha?

Well, there is good news for football fans in the UAE and indeed the GCC with the announcement of a new shuttle service bringing fans to the Qatari capital and back without having to book a room.

flydubai, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, Saudia Airlines and Kuwait Airlines will be operating flights from five cities in the four countries including Dubai.

There will be some 60 flights per day to the Qatar during the football tournament from Dubai.

Plane tickets are exclusively reserved for those who have World Cup tickets and supporters have been advised to land five to six hours before the kick-off of their chosen match.

All ticket holders will also need a Hayya Card which will also give them free transportation to and from the stadiums on the Doha metro.

The news follows the announcement that Qatar Airways will increase operations between Doha and Abu Dhabi to three times a day in July.

This will bring the current number of flights between the two countries up 56.
