Fines for Abu Dhabi motorists with no permit for tinted windows

Penalties for exceeding 50 per cent tint levels as well.

Listen up motorists because we have some news that you need to see.

A fine of AED 1,500 will be slapped on any motorist in Abu Dhabi who has not received a permit to tint their car windows or who have them shaded by more than 50 per cent.

 

 

The news was revealed on Abu Dhabi Police’s social media channels where it explained that the traffic laws were based on studies that have shown what level of tint have a detrimental effect on the visibility of drivers.

The use of reflective or blurred glass on car windows is also banned.
