Ticketholders for ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup games at the Khalifa City A will be able to receive a 50 per cent discount on PCR tests at select locations in the capital.

Thanks to a partnership between Abu Dhabi Cricket, Abu Dhabi Sports Council and VPS’ Burjeel Hospitals, fans can get AED 25 knocked off a price of a Covid-19 PCR test by showing their official matchday ticket at Burjeel Medical City, Burjeel Day Surgery Centre on Reem Island and Burjeel medical centres in Al Shahama, Al Shamka and Al Zeina.

Fans who attend T20 Cricket World Cup matches in Abu Dhabi must present a negative PCR test result on their Al Hosn app conducted within 72 hours of the match.

His Excellency Aref Al Awani, General Secretary of Abu Dhabi Sports Council said “Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Burjeel Hospitals, and Abu Dhabi Cricket have come together for this initiative in order to safely accommodate all of those people on site and, at the same time, help reduce the cost on the paying public.

Zayed Cricket Stadium is welcoming more than 10,000 fans for every match for the World Cup and ticket prices for the Super 12’s stage start from AED 50.
