NBA ABU DHABI: Hawks and Bucks are already here in the capital

It is the first NBA matches to be played in the Middle East.

Basketball fans we have some amazing news that will have you bouncing.

The Millwakee Bucks and the Atlanta Hawks have been named as the sides to play the historic first two NBA pre-season matches in Abu Dhabi in November.

Taking place at the Etihad Arena on October 6 and 8, the matches are a part of the strategic partnership of NBA and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.

Tickets are not on sale just quite yet but you can register interest for the first NBA matches to be played in the Middle East on the NBA website.

The announcement of the two pre-season clashes follows on from the launch of the NBA Jr. Abu Dhabi League and a NBA 2k League exhibition at the Middle East Film & Comic Con.
